AWS Trainium, Now on Yotta Labs
We recently highlighted our approach to orchestrating AI workloads across multi-silicon, multi-cloud and heterogeneous clusters. We're excited to announce that AWS Tranium is now available on Yotta Labs.

We’re excited to announce support for AWS Trainium1 on Yotta Labs, marking an initial milestone in our multi-silicon roadmap.
As AI workloads diversify, infrastructure can no longer be optimized around a single accelerator. Training, fine-tuning, and inference increasingly span Nvidia GPUs and purpose-built AI silicon—each with different performance, cost, and scaling characteristics.
Yotta Labs is designed to let teams adopt new silicon without changing how they build, deploy, or operate.
In our recent blog, Orchestrating AI Across multi-Silicon, Multi-Cloud and Heterogeneous Clusters, we outlined how teams can manage distributed infrastructure across providers and accelerators through a single control plane. Trainium1 is a direct step toward that model.
With this release, teams can begin running workloads on Trainium1 today within the Yotta Labs platform, using the same operational model they rely on for Nvidia GPUs.
Why Trainium
AWS Trainium1 was designed for large-scale model training and select inference workloads, delivering strong price-performance for transformer-based models. By bringing Trainium1 into the Yotta Labs platform, customers can:
- Access specialized AI silicon optimized for training and throughput-oriented inference
- Improve training efficiency and cost at scale
- Manage Trainium1 and GPU workloads through a single platform
This release allows teams to evaluate and operationalize Trainium1 while maintaining consistency across their infrastructure stack.
How to Access AWS Trainium on Yotta Labs
Trainium1 instances are available today via the Yotta Labs Console:
- Log in to console.yottalabs.ai
- Navigate to Virtual Machines
- Select a Trainium1-backed instance to get started
Teams can immediately begin experimenting, benchmarking, and running training workloads on Trainium1.
Coming Soon: Trainium Pods
We’re actively working to make Trainium1 available as a Pod via Yotta Labs Console, which will deliver the optimal developer experience with an out-of-the-box software stack tuned for Trainium1. Pods will provide:
- Pre-configured environments optimized for Trainium1
- Faster setup with minimal manual configuration
- A consistent workflow across GPUs and Trainium1
Our goal is to make Trainium a first-class citizen within the Yotta Labs Pods ecosystem.
Beyond Trainium: Expanding Multi-Silicon Support
Trainium1 is the first accelerator in our multi silicon roadmap and a foundation for the broader Yotta Labs vision.
We are bringing additional accelerators online with AMD coming soon, integrating each one into the same platform model. You evaluate, deploy, and scale across clouds and silicon types without retooling your infrastructure.
Yotta Labs gives you a single control plane for GPUs and purpose built AI silicon. You choose the right accelerator for each stage of the model lifecycle. We provide the platform to run it.
